What people had to say:

‘Lovely place to stop and see the views from the other side of this mountain. The shop sells their products and we enjoyed really lovely coffee and cake from a multi levelled decked area. This a good watering hole while you are on the mountain.’

‘Mountveiw Alpaca farm makes for a fun day out. Stunning location and a great cafe and gift shop. The Alpacas were so friendly and were very keen to come see us. We were even lucky enough to see a baby alpaca born the day before.’

‘Our tour stopped here on the way to O’Reilly’s and some hiking. It may not be your destination, but it is a nice break to get out of the vehicle. the people are friendly ~ and “Al” the Alpaca is a bit amusing!! they do sell food to give the Alpacas a bit of a treat. The gift shop has some quality Alpaca products and a few touristy items. The bathrooms were clean & neat – a bit of a hike down to them though.’

‘Was great pitstop, friendliest staff, great merchandise in the gift shop and cheap price for feed to feed the alpacas. Definitely a winner for the kids and adults too. Was $3 a bag for the feed and theyre not slack on the feed. Great little cafe too and a viewing deck and toilets out back.’
